Prayagraj: A young man from Kareli has accused his wife of defaming him by posting an AI-generated pornographic video on Instagram. Based on the complaint filed by the victim, Rishabh Gupta, the Kareli police station has registered a case.

According to the complaint, the wife is living at her parents’ home following a domestic dispute. It is alleged that since August 10, videos containing abusive language against the family have been circulating from an Instagram ID. The victim claims that he plays the role of Ram in the Patharchatti Ramlila and is being defamed in an attempt to force his removal from the program.

The victim also alleged that his Instagram account was hacked and a fake video of him drinking alcohol was circulated on September 25. Police say a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
