Prayagraj: The five-day Teacher Professional Development Program, organized by the Cantonment Board School, concluded at Cantt High School, New Cantt, Prayagraj. Held from October 5 to October 9, 2026, the program aimed to develop teachers’ knowledge, skills, and teaching abilities, and to make the teaching-learning process more effective and qualitative. The main theme of the final day of the program was the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
On this occasion, the chief guest and subject expert was Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Lecturer (Hindi), Army Public School, New Cantt, Prayagraj. In his address, he explained that the National Education Policy 2020 aims to promote the all-round development of students, encourage creative and critical thinking, and make education more practical, skill-based, and student-centered. He encouraged teachers to adopt new teaching methods, recognize students’ individual strengths and interests, and promote activity-based learning in the classroom.
This five-day training program inspired teachers to develop their professional skills, innovate in teaching methods and provide quality education to students. The chief guest was honored with a memento on behalf of the Cantonment Board Prayagraj school family. At the end of the program, Cantt High School Principal Mr. Mo Ansar said, “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nagesh Kumar Pandey, whose able guidance, inspiration and cooperation made the successful organization of this important training program possible. Your commitment to improving the quality of education and professional development of teachers is a source of inspiration for all of us.”
Mr. Mohammad Ansar expressed his gratitude to the chief guest of the program today. He congratulated all the staff for making the five-day program a success. Present on the occasion were Mr. V.D. Shukla (Principal, Vikar Public School), Mrs. Kalpana (Principal, R.A.B. Public School), Mr. Ashish Mishra (Principal, Udaan School), and others. The program was conducted by senior teacher, Mrs. Rekha Mishra.
