Artisans working day and night for three months: To mark the centenary, the puja pandal is being designed in the grand architectural style of Kerala’s world-famous Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Artisans specially flown in from Kolkata have been working day and night for the past three months to construct the pandal. Special attention is being paid to the details to give the massive pandal an attractive and vibrant look.
Amazing grandeur will be seen along with the temple; Puja coordinator, media in-charge and public relations officer Lalu Mittal and Mayank Shukla said that this time in the decoration of the pandal, along with the grandeur of the Padmanabha Swamy temple, the gigantic form and grandeur of Lord Vishnu seated in sleeping posture will be specially displayed. The famous concept of immense wealth and treasure hidden in the temple basement is also being prepared to be presented attractively in the theme of the pandal.
Committee President Jayant Shridhar Joshi, Executive President Raju Dwivedi, T.P. Mishra, Rajesh Malik Subroto Ghosh, Secretary Ratnesh Pandey, Pawan Shukla Sunil Singh, who are busy in making the centenary year memorable, said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the office bearers and members of the committee regarding the centenary year. To make this glorious tradition of hundred years memorable, the puja pandal, electrical decoration, religious rituals and cultural programs are being given a special look. The committee said that Bai Ka Baag Durga Puja Barwari is not only a religious event, but is an important part of the social and cultural heritage of the city.
