Prayagraj: An elderly man was found dead on Saturday near the High Court Ambedkar Statue intersection in the Civil Lines police station area. Civil Lines police, responding to the information, attempted to identify the deceased’s body but were unable to do so. Police have sent the body for post-mortem as unidentified. Outpost in-charge of the protest site, Mayankdhar Dwivedi, said that the body of a man was found on Saturday near the High Court Ambedkar statue intersection. His age is estimated to be around 69 years. The deceased had white hair and a white beard and moustache. Efforts were made to identify the deceased but he could not be identified. Efforts are being made to identify him. Civil Lines police have informed social media and nearby police stations.
