Prayagraj: Sanjeet Kumar Singh has been serving as Inspector Accounts in the Police Commissionerate for nearly 20 years. During this time, he was transferred five times to various districts. Last time, on September 16, 2024, he was relieved from Prayagraj and released to Security Headquarters, Lucknow. However, due to the negligence of previous Police Commissioners, he continues to work in Prayagraj. During the last Kumbh Mela, he worked at the Kumbh Mela through collusion with Police Headquarters (DCP Headquarters). When he should have returned to Lucknow, where he was released, Vaibhav Krishna is now attempting to re-enter the Commissionerate by obtaining false orders from the DIG Kumbh Mela. This type of neglect by senior officials emboldens corrupt employees, tarnishing the image of the Uttar Pradesh government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict instructions to immediately release all transferred officers and employees and order them to join their assigned locations.
