Despite police interference, a strategy was developed to carry out construction overnight by dumping bricks and sand
Prayagraj: In Devrakh village, Karchana tehsil area, a fearless history-sheeter, along with his henchmen, is carrying out construction on government land with the intention of forcibly occupying it. However, due to the tehsil being on holiday, the sub-district magistrate is proving ineffective in stopping the illegal construction. It is alleged that the road in front of the HPT in Devrakh village is marked on the map as approximately 200 meters and 70 feet wide, near the primary school. However, the history-sheeter, using his brothers as guards, is continuing the forced construction. Prominent villagers protested the forced occupation of the road and filed a complaint with the local police station, demanding an end to the construction. However, in the presence of police, the history-sheeter challenged the police, saying, “No one can stop the construction; I will build as much as I want.” In Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s crime- and fear-free government, the history-sheeter is fearlessly continuing the forced construction, openly challenging the tehsil and police. While Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously giving orders to remove illegal encroachment from government lands, the administration is still proving unsuccessful in stopping illegal construction work on government land. There is talk among the villagers that the locals will now send a complaint to the Chief Minister demanding action against the fearless history-sheeter. People allege that the history-sheeter is openly engaging in hooliganism, creating terror among the locals.
