Prayagraj: Under the Traffic Month of November 2026, a traffic awareness program was organized for taxi and tempo drivers by the Traffic Police Commissionerate of Prayagraj to promote road safety and save lives. During the program, traffic police officers advised drivers to follow traffic rules, drive within the prescribed speed limit, use helmets and seat belts, and avoid using mobile phones while driving. Drivers were informed about measures to prevent road accidents and urged to fulfill their responsibility towards road safety. A large number of taxi and tempo drivers participated in the program. Awareness materials related to traffic rules were also distributed to them. The traffic police appealed to all drivers to follow traffic rules themselves and encourage others to do the same, so that road accidents can be reduced.
