Land mafia forcefully occupying his plot in Kareli area

Prayagraj: Goons are still grabbing the land with the patronage from local police. Men in Khakhi are bolstering land mafia in their nefarious designs, despite strict directives from chief ministers, who has asked police and administrative officials to show zero tolerance towards such criminals and their lawful activities. However, some cops in connivance with land mafia are making mockery of government intentions.

The present case is of Mohd. Sadiq Siddiqui, son of Mohammad Ahmed who has purchased 168 sq feet plot at Mauja Kasari Masari, tehsil Sadar district Prayagraj way back in 2015. He also pays house tax to Nagar Nigam and had constructed three rooms subsequently. However, some members of Atiq gang, which include their kingpim Aftab Ahmed son of Ansar Ahmed has forcefully occupied the victim’s plot and razed the construction with the help of police. The complainant Mohd. Sadiq Siddiqui has been running from pillar to post to draw the attention of authorities but all his plea are falling on deaf ears.
