Prayagraj: Inauguration of two weekly Faculty Development Program in Entrepreneurship under the sponsorship of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and organized by Center of Technology and Entrepreneurship Development Jagdishpur Amethi Sam Bottom University AAP Chief Guest Assistant Manager District Industries in the Department of Agricultural Economics of Agricultural Technology and Sciences And Horticulture Promotion Center Prayagraj was organized by Sanjay Kumar, presided over by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. B. Mehra. On this occasion, University’s Additional Registrar Prof. C.J. Wesley, Director Extension Dr. Praveen Charan, Dean Professor Ashish Noyal, Seated Institute Director Engineer Sanjay Singh, social worker SN Shukla and faculty from various departments of the University and representatives of various NGOs were present as special guests on this occasion. Representatives were present. Program coordinator AK Srivastava highlighted the objectives of the program. Sanjay Singh said that the program is a trainers training program whose objective is to connect science and technology graduates with entrepreneurship. Dr. Praveen Charan told that industries can be established in the agricultural sector by value addition by science graduate youth. Sanjay Kumar, the chief guest of the inaugural session, gave information about the schemes being run by the District Industry and Enterprise Promotion Center in Prayagraj district and a Mentioning the District One Product Scheme, Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme, Prime Minister Employment Generation Program and Moonj Products, Fruit Processing Program etc. which are progressing in the district, he requested that if any of the schemes should be availed, then our department would be fully engaged and will provide him full support.
