Prayagraj: One-day training program for the selected goat farmers of Prayagraj district under the awareness livestock management program for the two-tier goat rearing unit established in the university by the project sponsored by National Agricultural Development Scheme, Uttar Pradesh, Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, Sam Higginbottom Agricultural Technology and Organized by Science University, Prayagraj. Training Coordinator and Project Coordinator Dr. Amish John Stephen explained how farmers can benefit from this project sponsored by National Agricultural Development Scheme. Detailed information about how they can benefit was provided to the farmers. Told that in this project, goat rearing is done at one place on the upper surface, whose droppings when fallen down is used as food for chickens, due to which the farmer can earn profit from both goat and chicken business from one place at low cost. Is. He motivated the farmers to deposit the necessary money after registration and take good breed goats and goats from the university and told that if after one year, the goat kid of the same breed is returned, the registration amount deposited by the farmer will be returned to him so that A farmer can improve his economy by getting good breed of goats and goats for free. Associate Professor Dr. Rampal Singh, Dr. Anand Kumar Singh explained the scientific methods of goat rearing to the farmers in detail. The above training was organized with the help of Extension Directorate and the program was conducted by Dr. Yogesh Chandra Srivastava. The goat farmers participating in the training program were given a tour of the goat rearing unit established in the university by the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana.
