Prayagraj: Poonam Sant Mahila Evam Vikas Samiti registered a protest by taking out a peaceful march from the protest site to Hanuman Mandir Civil Lines on Thursday. This protest was done against the inhuman acts being committed against the Hindu minority communities in Bangladesh. President of the organisation, Poonam Sant, said that the manner in which people of the minority community are being tortured, incidents like rape and molestation of women and girls are being done by anarchist elements, it should be stopped with immediate effect and it is also necessary to provide security to Hindu minorities. Along with this, our demand is that all those criminals should get the harshest punishment. Women, men, teachers and people of every section took part in this peaceful protest. Along with this, the march moved ahead and at Hanuman Mandir intersection, the effigy of Bangladesh Prime Minister Yunus was beaten with slippers by women and advocates and blackened on its face. With this, the march ended waving the Tricolor and Sanatan Dharma flag in the hands. In which mainly the Vice President of the organization Ranjana Gulati, National Coordinator Isabel Brandish, Secretary Abhishek Sant, Kamini Jain, Savita Aggarwal, Suman Pandey, Geeta Mahajan, nominated councilors Manoj Kushwaha and Pawan Srivastava, as well as Gaurish Ahuja, Manoj Tiwari, advocates Abhishek Shukla, Ankaj Srivastava, Shyamadhar Mishra, Vikash Somvanshi participated along with hundreds of people.
