Prayagraj: The foot march ‘Ek Kadam Gandhi’, which started from Banaras Rajghat with the message of Gandhi’s thoughts, reached Prayagraj city on Wednesday. Yatra was given an unprecedented welcome by the senior citizens and prominent people of the city at Alopi Bagh All India Sardar Patel Seva Sansthan. Before that, this padyatra started from Bala Prasad Kushwaha Degree College, Balrampur at 7:00 am. On moving ahead, Nehru Gram Bharti Sansthan welcomed the padyatris with lunch and a halt. The Vice Chancellor of the Sansthan, Manish Mishra, said that we are very happy to welcome the padyatris from about 16 states across the country in this padyatra, who have set out in the country carrying the message of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
In this padayatra, Sarva Seva Sangh President Chandanpal along with Uttar Pradesh Sarvodaya Mandal President Ram Dhiraj Bhai represented 16 states of the country – Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and West Bengal.

Palanisamy, Srinivasan (Tamil Nadu), Dr. Sukhchandra Jha, Ankur Shashwat (Jharkhand), Jiten Nandi, Kajal Mukherjee (West Bengal), Vidyadhar, Jokhan Yadav, Sister Florine, Nidhi, Siraj Ahmed, Antaryami Baral, Jagdish Kumar (Former State Convenor, Rajasthan), Sanjay (Jai Kisan Andolan), T.K.
