Prayagraj: A business conference was organised in the city’s western assembly regarding GST reforms. On Wednesday, a business conference was organized at Sudha Vatika in Mundera, in the city’s West Assembly constituency, under the aegis of the BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan Area, to highlight the GST reform. Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Phulpur BJP MP Praveen Patel said that for the first time since independence, such a major reform has been implemented in the tax system. The Next Generation GST Reform is a historic step that will directly benefit poor and middle-class families. The new GST reform will establish a balance between the rich and the needy. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, under the Mission for Developed India 2047, extensive reforms are underway in every sector of the country. Following the principle of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”, the double-engine government is rapidly working in basic sectors. Previously, the business community was burdened by various taxes. The GST reform has brought transparency and ease of doing business. The MP stated that record purchases during Navratri are an example of people’s purchasing power. The GST reform will promote India’s self-reliance under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India) vision.
