Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said that under the able guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the 2026-27 budget presented by Finance Minister Suresh Khanna in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly today is a budget that will accelerate the all-round development of the state. The historic budget of Rs. 9.12 lakh crore is a ‘roadmap’ to transform the dreams of 25 crore people of the state into reality. This 2026-2027 budget will lay a strong foundation for the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ of the ‘New India’.
Minister Nandi said that Uttar Pradesh’s economy has more than doubled in the last eight years, reaching over Rs. 30 lakh crore. This reflects the sustained investment and development taking place in the state. This budget is a concrete, effective, and visionary step towards a developed India by 2047. It guarantees the happiness, prosperity, and improvement in the standard of living of 25 crore people of the state. Minister Nandi said that this budget will give a new impetus to the state’s economic and industrial development. The aspirations and expectations of youth, women, farmers, businessmen, and entrepreneurs will all be realized through this budget. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Finance Minister Suresh Khanna for this multifaceted and multi-sighted budget.
