Prayagraj: Divisional Railway Manager/Prayagraj, Mr. Rajneesh Agrawal, honored 21 employees for their outstanding work under the “World Environment Day” campaign by presenting them with certificates. Senior Divisional Environment and House Maintenance Manager, Mr. Vikram Singh Koli, was also present on the occasion.
The honored personnel included 11 employees from the Environment and Housekeeping Branch and 10 members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides team. All of them made significant contributions to the success of cleanliness, environmental protection, and public awareness activities on railway premises during the campaign. The Bharat Scouts and Guides team, in particular, played a key role in raising awareness among passengers, railway employees, and local citizens about cleanliness and environmental protection through street plays, rallies, tree planting, and public outreach programs.
During the World Environment Day campaign, extensive cleanliness drives were carried out at various stations, trains, office complexes, and railway colonies across the Prayagraj Division. Various programs related to plastic elimination, waste management, tree planting, and environmental protection were also organized. Through these activities, the message of maintaining a clean and green railway campus was widely disseminated.
In his address, Divisional Railway Manager, Mr. Rajneesh Agrawal, stated that cleanliness and environmental protection are not topics limited to a single day or campaign, but rather, they are a continuous process that requires the active participation of every railway employee. He urged all employees to make cleanliness an integral part of their work culture and to remain constantly vigilant about environmental protection.
On this occasion, a total of 21 personnel of the Bharat Scouts and Guides team, including Mr. R.K. Rai, Mr. K. Narayan, Mr. M.K. Kanojia, Mr. Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Mr. Gulrez Faridi, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Mr. Himanshu Mishra, Mr. Kaushal Kumar and Mr. Sanjay Pandey, were honored with certificates.
