Prayagraj: Proud moment for SHUATS as Prof. (Dr.) C John Wesley, Registrar and Chairman, Athletics Committee SHUATS, representing the Prayagraj District lifted the Mixed Doubles Masters Badminton Championship in 45+ category in the recently concluded YONEX Sunrise Uttar Pradesh State Masters Ranking Tournament 2026 held at Prayagraj from 13th to 15th June 2026 partnering Anuradha from Ghaziabad. In 45+ Men’s Doubles Category, Prof. (Dr.) C. John Wesley partnering with the Arujun awardee and Olympian Shri. Abhinn Shyam Gupta were the runner up.

Prof. (Dr.) C. John Wesley received the trophies from the distinguished Guests, Hon’ble Justice Vikram Nath, Supreme Court of India, Smt. Saumya Agarwal, Divisional Commissioner of Prayagraj and Shri. Manish Kumar Verma, DM, Prayagraj. The Vice Chancellor, SHUATS UNIVERSITY congratulated Prof. (Dr.) C.
