IFFCO and Cordet making invaluable contribution to Indian agriculture: Valmiki Tripathi
Dr. Vivek Dixit takes charge as new Principal
PRAYAGRAJ: The 92nd Managing Committee meeting of Cordet was held in the meeting hall of Cordet Phulpur. Presiding over the meeting, Valmiki Tripathi said that Cordet is continuously carrying out its activities in the field and is making continuous progress. IFFCO and Cordet are making invaluable contribution to Indian agriculture and also creating awareness among the farmers through continuous training programmes.
The convener of the meeting, Dr. Vivek Dixit, the newly appointed Principal of Cordet Phulpur welcomed the members of the Cordet Management Committee. After that, the former Principal of Cordet Phulpur, Dr. D.KSingh presented the progress report of Cordet Phulpur and members Kulmani Majhi (Principal, Cordet Paradip) and Dr. Arvind Dhaka (Principal, Cordet Amla) presented the annual progress report, training programs and agricultural extension activities of their respective centers before the committee.
Joint Agriculture Director Prayagraj Anil Sagar and other senior members Bharat Tripathi, Abhay Chaudhary, R. P. Singh Baghel, Rajdutt Pandey, Padmashri Ram Saran Verma, Secretary Cordet and State Distribution Manager IFFCO Lucknow Yatendra Tewatia and Unit Head of IFFCO Phulpur Unit P.K. Singh appreciated the report and gave his important suggestions to make agricultural training more effective in rural areas.
At the end of the meeting, convener Dr. Vivek Dixit thanked the Chairman and all the respected members for attending the meeting and giving valuable guidance.
In this sequence, former Principal of Cordet Phulpur, Dr. D.K. After Singh’s promotion as the Regional Manager of Prayagraj region, a farewell ceremony was also organized in which the members of the Management Committee and all the officers and employees of Cordet honored Dr. Singh by garlanding him. And also the committee members and staff also congratulated the newly appointed Principal Dr. Vivek Dixit on taking charge as the Principal of Cordet Phulpur.
