Majlis organized at residence of sr journo on fifth Muharram

Prayagraj: Like every year on the fifth of Mahe Muharram, this year also a Majlis was organized in the memory of Karbala at the residence of senior journalist Zainul Abedin, resident of Babuganj Bazaar. On Sunday, on the fifth day of Muharram, Maulana Shaukat Nizami said in his passionate speech that Hazrat Imam Hussain along with his seventy-two companions fulfilled the promise made to his maternal grandfather Muhammad Sahib in his childhood by sacrificing his head but did not give his hand to Yazid. He said that Imam Hussain’s life was full of injusticeIt gives the message of standing against and serving humanity. Such events strengthen mutual brotherhood and communal harmony in the society. Hafiz Maqsood Hashmi, Qari Mohammad Hussain Hashmi, Hafiz Mohammad Arman, Hafiz Abdul Hafeez narrated the martyrdom in Karbala. Hafiz Ghulam Mohammad introduced Noorani Natsharif. Hafiz Haji Abdul Khaliq, Ali Ahmed Hashmi, senior journalist, Qari Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Mobeen Hashmi, Mohammad Saif, Mohammad Anjaf, Mohammad Masood, Mohammad Sumbul etc. were present on the occasion.

Like every year, on this fifth Muharram, the deen of Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganj Shakar Faruqui Chishti Rahmatullah Alaiy, whose tomb is in Pakpattan Sharif, Punjab (Pakistan), which is a special and common place of pilgrimage, in his name, the fifth Muharram was celebrated and prayers were sought for the country and the nation.
