Special Guru Samman Abhiyan from July 29 in collaboration with NGOs, social orgs

Prayagraj: Rajnikant Srivastava, provincial co-ordinator of the Bharatiya Janata Party NGO Cell, Kashi Province, said that as per the leadership’s directions, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima on July 29, a “Guru Samman Abhiyan” will be conducted in all the districts of Kashi Province with reverence, respect and a spirit of service. Under the campaign, saints, mahants, priests and gurus will be honored by visiting various monasteries, temples, gurudwaras, ashrams and other places of worship by presenting them garlands, angvastras, coconuts and fruits.

He said that this campaign is not merely a religious event, but a comprehensive public campaign to honor the guru-disciple tradition of Indian culture and to strengthen service, values, and spiritual consciousness in society. All district coordinators, district co-coordinators, NGO cell officials, and volunteer workers in the Kashi province have been instructed to ensure active participation in this campaign.

Rajnikanth Srivastava said that in every district, the campaign will be given a wider scope by taking the cooperation of local NGOs, Ramlila committees, Bhandara committees, Jagran and Jagrata committees, Gauseva institutions, temple committees, ashrams, monasteries and other social and religious organizations, so that strong coordination can be established with the organizations involved in social service works.

He urged all district officials to ensure the dignified presence of public representatives, senior officials, and prominent citizens by assigning responsible workers to each sacred site. High-quality photographs, videos, participant lists, and details of the relevant organization should be provided to the province in a timely manner for each program, so that they can be sent to the state leadership and outstanding service organizations can be honored in the future.

In the end, Rajnikanth Shrivastava appealed to all the officials, volunteers and social organizations to make the campaign successful with complete dedication, discipline and enthusiasm and said that “respecting the Guru is respecting the Indian culture and this campaign of Guru Purnima will give a strong message of service, culture and harmony in the society.”
