Prayagraj: Upon the arrival of the Gen Z Connect Yatra, an ongoing campaign to raise issues related to youth education, employment, and competitive examinations, in Phaphamau, Congress Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed welcomed the youth and pilgrims participating by garlanding them. A street meeting followed, which discussed the problems of youth and their future. Addressing the gathering, Ashfaq Ahmed cited paper leaks, unemployment, and inflation as key issues and demanded the government take concrete steps to address the problems of youth and the general public. He stated that transparency in competitive examinations, a timely recruitment process, and employment opportunities are key expectations of youth. Referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s raising of youth and employment issues, Ashfaq Ahmed said it is essential to bring the voices of students and youth to the center of public discussion. The Gen Z Connect Yatra’s objective is to directly communicate with youth on issues related to education, examinations, and employment. The Yatra started from Chauri Chaura on 20 August 2026 and during this, street corner meetings and youth dialogues are being organised at various places. On this occasion, Mr. Priyesh Pandey Wasim Ansari, Vice President, Dr. Jagat Narayan Singh, Devraj Upadhyay, Najm Ahmed, Sharad Upadhyay Munna, Dr. Amar Singh Patel, Saddam Hussain Siddiqui, Richa Kushwaha, Md.
