The system came into effect from today on the instructions of Principal Dr. A.K. Verma
Prayagraj: For the convenience of patients and their families visiting the Trauma Center of Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, an initiative has been initiated to ensure the availability of cool drinking water, seating arrangements, fans, and stretchers and wheelchairs at the main entrance. This arrangement has been implemented from today.
This decision was made in light of the problems faced by patients and attendants during an inspection yesterday by Dr. A.K. Verma, Principal of Motilal Nehru Medical College. Essential facilities have been developed to provide immediate stretchers and wheelchairs to critically ill patients, as well as to provide relief from the heat to family members.
The responsibility for operating and monitoring this system has been entrusted to Dr. Jitendra Shukla, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Dr. Anil Singh of the Department of Anesthesia. Under their supervision, all facilities are being made available at the entrance of the Trauma Center.
Principal Dr. A.K. Verma said, “Every patient and their family member who comes to the hospital deserves respect and sensitive treatment. The Trauma Center often receives patients in critical condition, so they need immediate assistance. Providing basic amenities like cool drinking water, seating arrangements, fans, stretchers, and wheelchairs is our primary responsibility. Our endeavor is to ensure that patients receive quality and humane healthcare without facing unnecessary difficulties.” Major Dr Jitendra Shukla said that such steps will continue to be taken in the future to improve the convenience of patients and the quality of health services.
