PRAYAGRAJ: On the holy festival of Mahashivratri, former Mayor of Prayagraj, Abhilasha Gupta Nandi ji performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Bholenath in the ancient Manokaamna Shiva temple located at Bahadurganj.

On the auspicious festival of Mahashivaratri, she wished Lord Bholenath for the wellbeing of the state’s people. She longed for the state’s economic development as well. Speaking to reporters, Abhilasha Nandi stated that one of the meanings of Lord Shiva is welfare; so, Lord Shiva is a symbol of welfare, and worship of Shiva is the perpetual devotion of man’s welfare aspirations. “Shiva’s cremation yard represents his lack of interest. Welfare can only be attained by individuals who, despite their omnipotence, are unattached to the enjoyment of successes,” she opined. During this time, Nandi informed the visitors to the temple that darshan is especially important in Shiva temples for the fulfillment of desires.

By doing Rudrabhishek in the temple alongside the people of Prayagraj, she hoped for the wellbeing of the entire state. Before signing off, she stated that her family is only safe because of the mercy of Lord Bholenath. “Whatever I wanted in life, I got it,” she screamed before wrapping off her comment.
