Prayagraj: Bishop Morris Edgar Dan, Diocese of Lucknow Chairman Bishop Johnson Girls Wing Katra, Prayagraj has shot off a letter to police commissioner demanding registration of FIR in connection with the embezzlement of Rs 2.4 crore of students’ fees by impersonating the Principal through fabrication and fraud. On Friday, the delegation led by Bishop Dan submitted a memorandum to the Police Commissioner Prayagraj. The letter to the Police Commissioner reads as follows:
“Apart from being the Bishop of the Diocese of Lucknow Church of North India, the applicant is also the ex-officio Chairman of the Diocesan Education Board, Registered letter No. (1-35070), which runs more than two dozen schools including Bishop Johnson Girls, Wing Katra, Prayagraj. Yojana Lal had resigned from the post of Principal of Bishop Johnson Girls Wing Katra, Prayagraj on 11/02/2022. According to the rules, till the new appointment is made, the senior teacher of the school should be given the charge of acting Principal and the Principal should be appointed through interview by taking out advertisement in newspapers for the new appointment,” he remarked.
“But Arpit Vineet Jaswant, the mastermind of leaking the papers of recruitment examinations in Bishop Johnson Girls Wing, got Parul Solomon, who was working as a teacher in another school, published the advertisement for the post of Principal with the connivance of Parul Solomon’s father Peter Baldev. They got her selected by forming a fake selection committee. Whereas the members of the selection committee wrote that gangster accused Peter Baldev forcibly threatened us and got us to sign the illegal selection of Parul, the complaint about which was given to the concerned authorities, the said complaint letter is attached. Complaints made by the members of the selection committee explicitly states that the appointment of Parul Solomon to the post of Principal is illegal which has been done through forged documents and forgery,” he stressed.
He further claimed, “On the basis of the said complaint, the bank refused to operate the bank account with the signature of Parul Solomon. After that, Parul Solomon, with the connivance of his father, former dismissed bishop Peter Baldev, his brother-in-law Alexander Masih, husband Sumit Solomon and other unknown accountants cheated the students. Till now, these people have embezzled approximately Rs 2.4 crore of fees and by not paying salaries to the teachers and employees of the school, they embezzled all the fees. Not only this, these people did not even deposit the PF fund of teachers and employees and embezzled that money also. After investigation of the above complaints, all the allegations were found to be true and due to this illegal appointment to the post of Principal through fake means, she was dismissed from the post and Shirley Masih was appointed as the new Principal in her place and took charge. There is a lot of anger among the teachers and employees due to the embezzlement of the students’ fees by depositing them in cash for the last one year and the embezzlement of the salaries and PF funds of the teachers and employees. It is absolutely necessary to take action against the culprits.”
Prior to signing off, he said, “Therefore, it is a humble request to appropriate authorities that in the case of appointment to the post of Principal against the rules and embezzlement of Rs 2.4 crore of students’ fees through forgery and forgery, accused needs to booked with immediate effect. Please issue an order to register a case against Vineet Jaswant, Parul Solomon, Peter Baldev Alexander Masih, Sumit Solomon and other unknown people.” Memorandum and delegation was led by Principal of Girls High School Rev.
