Prayagraj: The dancing of folk songs and dances became memorable on the second day of Shilp Mela. The audience liked Haryana’s better platform for folk dancers. The audience is mesmerized. In the National Crafts Fair, visitors are getting an opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, folk dance and folk singing of different states. That too on one stage. The audience is not only being entertained by various presentations but they are also able to know the cultural heritage of different states. In Shilpahat, which has been established as Mini India, people are enjoying cultural programs along with shopping. On the second day, on Monday evening, Sangeetotva started from 5 pm, Deepika Mishra and her group came from Sultanpur, performed Ganesh Vandana Ganraj, listen to our request and swing it to the heart of the king, after that swing the fair, king ji, the dupatta of the cart driver should be blown away, I don’t appreciate it. In the series of folk dances, Pavitra Mahapatra and his team from Odisha presented conch blowing and Ranappa dance. After this, Nitul Chotia and the group presented a Bihu dance and showed a glimpse of the culture of Assam. Subodh Parmanik and the group presented Paika and Chhau dance. Nadeem Raine and team received a lot of applause by presenting Badhaai and Naurata dance. Banarasi and team from Sonbhadra presented Karma and Suman Paraste and team presented style dance. Craft fair is attracting the people of Prayag Rajasthan, Punjab, Lucknow, Kashmir, Bihar , People are enjoying the products of craftsmen from Maharashtra, Pt. Bengal Mizoram, Delhi, Tamil Nadu. Among the delicious dishes, people are buying Rajasthan’s Jalebi, Bihar’s Churma along with sipping coffee in the pink cold, while Gujarat’s Aman Dhokla, Jalebi Fafda and Gujarati Thepla, Dabeli, Khadvi are being liked by the people with great enthusiasm. 160 stalls have been set up in the fair. Among the field artists, Kachchi Ghodi is the center of attraction for the people coming to the fair. In this fair which runs till 12th December, the crowd starts gathering from 11 am on the second day itself.
