Prayagraj: Industrial Development of Uttar Pradesh Government at the 19th Bhojpuri Film Awards ceremony organized by Film Director Vinod Gupta at Atharva Auditorium, Malad, Mumbai to honor the Bhojpuri film producers, directors, artists and technicians who have taken Bhojpuri cinema to new heights. Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi attended as the chief guest. Minister Nandi, in the presence of famous Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan, gave the Best Actor award to Bhojpuri singer and actor Pawan Singh, while the Best Actress award was given to actress Anjana Singh. Similarly, other artists were also honored with various awards for their excellent work. Many stars of Bollywood and Bhojpuri film world attended the Bhojpuri Film Awards ceremony. Famous Bhojpuri singer and famous actor Pawan Singh was awarded Best Actor in the presence of famous Bollywood playback singer Padmabhushan Udit Narayan, Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPA) President Abhay Sinha, patron TP Aggarwal, actor Surendra Pal Singh, actor Kunal Singh, MLA Vinay Bihari. Actress Anjana Singh was honored with the Best Actress Award, Rajkumar R Pandey with the Best Director Award and Abhay Sinha with the Best Film Award.
Singer and actor Ritesh Pandey was honored at the ceremony when his song Hello Kaun reached one billion reach. Singer Samar Singh ji, Chintu Pandey, film director Rajkumar Pandey, producer Nishant Ujjwal and Kajal Yadav were given special awards. Artists presented excellent programs on this occasion.
