Prayagraj: Lok Sevak Mandal Prayagraj organized a grand program on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rashtra Ratna Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon at Rajarshi Tandon Seva Kendra, Bank Road, Prayagraj, in which the great cultural heritage of Prayagraj and the contribution of national level personalities born here – poets, social workers and politicians were remembered. Legislative Council member Shri K.P. Shrivastava MLA Prayagraj, who was present as the chief guest, expressed his views and said that Prayagraj is not just a historical city, but is the birthplace of ideas that give direction to the country. Appreciating Tandon ji’s patriotism and love for Hindi, he called upon the new generation to imbibe his ideas. The program was presided over by senior councilor Shivsevak Singh, while Secretary of Lok Sevak Mandal Brahma Prakash Tiwari welcomed all the guests. Senior social worker and teacher Shrinarayan Yadav expressed his gratitude for the program. Employee leader Ravi Shankar Mishra performed the task of conducting the program efficiently.
In his address, Director of Gandhi Academic Institute and Senior Advocate Omprakash Shukla expressed deep concern over the spread of caste hatred on social media and stressed the need for society to remain vigilant. Many dignitaries were present on this occasion, including senior councilor Kamlesh Dada, Anand Ghidiyal, employee leader Phoolchand Yadav, Chandan Nishad, Mrs. Madhu, Anuradha, Nisha Gupta, Dr. Yashwant, Lovelesh, Anant Chaudhary, Prashant Sir, Padma etc. In the program, the speakers pledged to spread the ideals of Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon to the people.
