Prayagraj: Rotary Academia has been continuously engaged in relief work for the last four days in the flood-affected areas of Kareli and Karelabagh. The club’s team is delivering food, water, medicines and other essential items to the people trapped in the flood-affected areas with the help of boats. The relief work is being led by the club’s president Rev. Dr. Syed Nazim, founder Rev. Tariq Khan, former president Aftab Ahmed, former secretary Asra Nawaz and current secretary Rizwani Khan. All these members are engaged in service work day and night and are helping the victims in every possible way.

On Wednesday, the Rotary Academia team distributed relief material with the help of three boats in the deeply flooded areas going inwards from in front of Marhaba Palace. Club members Dr. Tabassum Naqvi, Dr. Shabi, Ro. Arif, Ro. Parvez, Syed Ashraf, Farid Ahmed, Shahid Kamal and Ro. Shams Tabrez played an active role in this campaign. The efforts of the team are being appreciated by the local people.
