Prayagraj: Sunita Devi, wife of Lal Bahadur, resident of village Mohanganj (Gohari), police station Phaphamau, district Prayagraj has shot off a letter to police commissioner, in which she had claimed that Vishal Bhartiya, sons of Bharatlal and Vikas Bhartiya, sons of Lalchand Bhartiya and Bharatlal son of Mithai Lal, of Mohanganj (Gohari), are very domineering and rogue type of people. Yesterday evening, they were giving a community feast in the village. They were not invited to the feast, over which they threatening life and property. Victim and her family said that we have nothing to do with the bhandaar. Whoever went there got the prasad. Regarding the bhandaar prasad, due to the instigation and conspiracy of La Chandra Bhartiya son of Mithai Lal, the above mentioned three people, along with their 5-6 unknown miscreant companions, armed with sticks and illegal weapons, came to the door of the victim and started abusing her. When the applicant called on 112 number, the above mentioned people entered the applicant’s house and caught hold of her and started slapping and punching her and started pulling her clothes and stripping her naked and started sexually harassing her. Hearing the noise and screams of the applicant, Vimla Devi and Suman Devi of the victim’s house came and all the above mentioned people manhandled them too and were threatening to kill them. The above mentioned people entered the victim’s house and broke the glass, window, tin shed, fan, earthen pots and the child’s bicycle and caused a lot of damage by breaking the house. At that time, there were no male members in the house. As soon as the police reached, all the above mentioned people threatened that they would file a fake Harijan harassment case against them and send them to jail and also threatened to kill the entire family by cutting them into pieces and ran away, due to which the entire family is scared. Victim fears, they may commit a serious crime again in future. Victim had reported the incident to the police station of Phaphamau but no action was taken. A case has been registered against the victim’s family under serious sections – 151 (2), 115 (2) 352, 351 (2) and 3 (2) (va) of the SC / ST Act, which she has demanded to be quashed and action to be taken against accused of committing heinous crime of stripping a woman.
