Prayagraj: Bharat Vikas Parishad Mangalam organized a “Guru Vandan – Chhatra Abhinandan” program under Project Sanskar in Maharshi Sankrityayan Public School located in Rajruppur area. The Principal, other teachers and staff along with brilliant students of various classes of the school participated enthusiastically in the program. The program started with lighting of lamps and floral tributes to the pictures of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda and the national anthem. The students of the school applied tilak-teeka to the teachers of the school, showered flowers and draped a dushala on them. After this, the students bowed to their feet as per Indian tradition and received their blessings. The teachers also felicitated all the children, especially the brilliant students, by giving them certificates. The patron of the Parishad, Nagendra Singh, said that we have to inculcate values in our students to save our culture. As a symbol of maintaining Indian values, the Hanuman Chalisa was recited by heart and the verses of 28 names of Radharani were sung in Sanskrit. The chief guest of the program was the retired principal of branch member Kendriya Vidyalaya Shri Ramanand Prasad. The event was conducted by Sunil Srivastava and thanks were given by Pradeep Jaiswal. The main patrons present were Nagendra Singh, Shivnandan Gupta, Amit Shyam, RP Sharma, Sudhir Dwivedi, Mihir Singh Neera and Sonam Srivastava etc.
