Prayagraj: North Central Zone Cultural Center, Prayagraj, Ministry of Culture, Government of India has started a series of various cultural programs to promote public participation under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign this year as well. In the first program organized in the center premises on Thursday, a musical evening of folk songs and Birha singing filled the audience with the spirit of patriotism. Folk songs full of patriotism such as ‘Haath Jode Khadi Hoon Duvariya’, ‘Navariya Ke Paar Karam Mai’, ‘Azadi Ke Amar Sapooto Tera Hi Gun Gaaye’, ‘Tiranga Lahar Lahraaye’, and ‘Kurbani Mange Dharti Have More Balidani’ presented by Prayagraj’s folk artist Tritima and her team infused new energy in the audience. During the program, the artists received a lot of applause and encouragement from the audience.

In the musical presentation, Aditya Yadav on harmonium, Hori Lal Vishwakarma on dholak, Satvan Kumar on manjira and Ram Soochit on kartal made the program even more impressive with their wonderful accompaniment. Apart from this, under Har Ghar Tiranga, painting workshop (on tricolor theme) will be organised on August 8, street play on August 9, Tiranga Yatra on August 12, presentation of patriotic songs on August 13, patriotic song and dance competition on August 14 and Prabhat Pheri and flag hoisting ceremony will be organised on August 15.
