Prayagraj: A stress relief workshop for teachers, held in MPVM Ganga Gurukulam on August 7, 2025, on the topic-“Pause and Breathe : Stress Relief” which  aimed to equip educators with strategies to manage and mitigate the pressures of their profession. The workshop was conducted by Mr Saurabh Beniwal a renowned educationist, motivational speaker, leadership consultant, counsellor and life long learner.

The session began with the lighting of the lamp accompanied by Saraswati Vandana. Thereafter the guest speaker was welcomed by the school counsellor Mrs. Shruti Vig and the Principal of the school Mrs.Madhuri Srivastava handed over a token of gratitude.

The workshop emphasized the importance of understanding the physical, psychological and behavioural symptoms of stress. The session was very interactive which included discussions, and activities to help teachers  pinpoint the specific stressors they  encounter in their daily routine both within and outside the classroom. It also highlighted the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, introspecting ourselves,incorporating stress reduction techniques like mindfulness, meditation, yoga and physical exercises,  empowering teachers to manage the stress levels effectively. Meditation session was conducted to help teachers cultivate a sense of calm and focus reducing anxiety and promoting mental clarity. Teachers were guided to identify negative thoughts replacing them with more positive and constructive perspectives. Overall the workshop provided teachers with valuable tools and strategies to manage stress, promote their well -being, and create a more positive and supportive work environment. The session was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the school counsellor Ms.Samriddhi.
