Railway employees observed black day

Prayagraj | As per the pre-announced programme, on the call of Indian Railway Employees Federation (IREF), workers of North Central Railway Workers Union (NCRWU) celebrated the UPS unveiling day as black day in all the three divisions of Prayagraj zone by tying black ribbons on the railway employees at their work place and raising slogans with them like NPS/UPS go back, restore old pension, privatization quit India. The wives and children of the railway employees also raised the slogan of NPS/UPS go back, restore old pension.

Comrade Manoj Pandey, General Secretary of Indian Railway Employees Federation and North Central Railway Workers Union said that the old pension is the support of the employees in their old age, it is the basis of the bright future of the employees, it is our right and we will get it no matter to what extent we have to go for it.

Comrade said that all the employees of the country are together demanding the old pension and now they are ready to unite and start a nationwide movement. Comrade Manoj said that on the call of NMOPS, lakhs of employees of Indian Railways will march to Delhi on 25th November under the leadership of Indian Railway Employees Federation (IREF) and Front Against NPS in Railways (FANPSR).

Under the leadership of Workers Union General Secretary Manoj Pandey, Syed Irfat Ali, Sandeep Singh, Shivendra Pratap Singh, R A Rizvi, Sunil Gupta, Amit Ranjan, Rajkumar, Shamshir Ahmed, Mrs. Sangeeta Chourasiya, Mrs. Sweety Jha, Mrs. Priyanka Sinha, Mrs. Rinki Gupta, Kumari Suhana, R N Pal, Bablu Kumar, Dinesh Kumar, Prem Prakash Shami, Narendra Kumar etc. participated in the program.
