Prayagraj: On the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, the Nav Yuvak Sangh Ganesh Poojan Samiti took out the immersion procession of Lord Shri Ganesh with great pomp and show. Before the procession taken out from Malak Raj Shiv Park by coordinator Sunny Sonkar, worship was performed as per the rituals. On this occasion, women offered vermilion and prayed for being a married woman and men touched the sacred thread and prayed for the welfare of the people. Thereafter, the immersion procession was started by showering abir gulal, dancing, singing and shouting slogans like Ganpati Bappa Morya, next year you come early. Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that flags, DJ band, drums, Maa Kali, Lord Gauri Shankar, Riddhi Siddhi, Shubh Labh, Kartikeya Maharaj, Hanuman Ji Maharaj’s Chowki were included in the procession.
