Prayagraj: In the fourth episode of the Dhrupad Yatra Mandir series, the entire temple premises of Hanuman Temple Civil Line Prayagraj reverberated with the Dhrupad singing of Dhrupad brothers (Sanjeev-Manish). The program was held in the presence of the respected Mahant of the temple and many saints. Media in-charge of Prayagraj, Mr. Rajesh Kesarwani told that the temple has been an important stop in the development journey of Dhrupad.

Dhrupad Gurukulam Foundation Hyderabad is trying to revive that golden period of development of Dhrupad through Dhrupad Yatra. The main objective of this foundation is to include all the important temples of the country in this journey and with their cooperation, take this ancient style of Raga singing/playing to the common people.

Dhrupad Gurukulam Foundation Hyderabad is trying to promote all the forms of Indian classical music apart from Dhrupad. In this series, it has been continuously working for the last 4 years by organizing Varsha Utsav, Dhamar Utsav, Dhrupad Yatra (temple series, lecture demonstrations in schools and colleges) and will continue to do so in future. In this program, Dhrupad brothers gave mesmerizing performances of ‘Namo Anjani’ in Raga Bhimapalasi, followed by ‘Keshav Madhu Sudan’, ‘Shankar Girjapati’, ‘Shiv Shiv’ etc. Famous Pakhawaj player Aditya Deep accompanied them, Priya Sharma accompanied on Tanpura, many music lovers were present in this program, the coordinators of this program Dr. Surendra Kumar and Manish Tiwari were also present who were the main organizers of this program.
