Locals submitted complaint to police

Prayagraj: Katra Mission Compound located in Kachhari has been a den of drug addicts for a long time, where as soon as the evening falls, drunkards and smack addicts start gathering. Earlier, some local people had informed the Colonelganj police station about the matter, after which the police administration came into action for a short time and peace prevailed for a few days, but for the past one month, drug addicts have again made the compound their den. Local people say that as soon as the evening falls, some suspicious vehicles come and stand in the compound and it is suspected that the miscreants sitting in those suspicious vehicles sell drugs to the youth. Regarding this entire matter, the local people met BJP leader Adarsh ​​​​Srivastav and submitted a written complaint to the police administration. The BJP has appealed to the media and the police that there should be continuous police patrolling at such identified places. He said that a drug den has been operating in Katra Mission Compound for a long time, due to which an atmosphere of fear has been created among the local people and it has become difficult for women and girls to go out in the evening and any day an untoward incident can occur.
