Prayagraj: Under the Hindi fortnight, a poetry recitation was organized at Shri Sanskar Vatika Trust on Sunday by the North Central Zone Cultural Center, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. 70 children from slums participated in the program and enthusiastically presented their poems and put their faith in Hindi into words. The center encouraged all the participants by giving them certificates. On this occasion, Akanksha read the poem “Hindi is our identity, this is our culture, this is our laughter.” Giving words to his feelings, Ankit said, “We will keep lighting the lamp of language, we will keep our bond with Hindi.” Khushi impressed the audience with her sweet voice, “Hindi is mother’s beloved language, it is our pride of India.” While Sundaram read the poem in an enthusiastic manner, “Let us all increase the value of Hindi, let us all light the lamp of knowledge.” Apart from this, Divya, Ayush won the hearts of the people present there by reciting poems. These presentations of the children made the program lively.
