Prayagraj: On the occasion of Dev Uthani Ekadashi on November 1, Shri Tulsi Vivah Mahotsav Samiti organised the Shri Vishnu Maha Yagya and Tulsi Shaligram Vivah Kalash Pujan Yatra with great pomp and show under the leadership of the committee’s president Krishna Bhagwan Kesarwani, which was conducted by the committee’s founder Santoshanand Maharaj by performing the rituals. The Kalash Pujan Yatra started from Baluwaghat and passed through Satti Square, Bans Mandi, Malviya Nagar and ended at Tara Sangat Peeli Kothi Ashram. After that, Shri Vishnu Mahayagna was started.

Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that all the marriage rituals will be performed for the Tulsi Shaligram marriage of the committee and the wedding procession of Lord Shaligram will be taken out with great pomp on November 1. The committee’s banner, band, nagada, dhol tasha and women carrying pots on their heads participated in the Shobha Yatra.

Hundreds of women including Rajiv Krishna Bunty, Rajesh Kesarwani, Neeraj Jadia, Dau Dayal Gupta, Sarika Yadav, Rani Kesarwani, Lata Upadhyay, Kalavati, Amresh Jaiswal, Preeti Rawat, Kalavati etc. were present in the Yatra.
