Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh government’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi on Wednesday inaugurated the construction of concrete roads and other development works constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 46 lakh 79 thousand in Sadiapur, Meerapur and Karelabagh areas of his Prayagraj city South Assembly constituency. Hundreds of children of the locality were delighted with the construction and inauguration of a cultural venue, yoga hall and a baradari by Minister Nandi after completing the government procedures on the land lying unused and a garbage dump in Sadiapur for years. The children expressed their happiness.
During this visit, Minister Nandi walked through the area, meeting with people and listening to their problems. Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, former Mayor of Prayagraj, who proposed the ongoing development projects, was also present.
Minister Nandi sanctioned construction of CC road and drain from Jafri Saheb’s house to Yogendra Kushwaha’s house in Sadiapur Wasihabad for Rs. 16.55 lakh; construction of CC road and drain from Shanno Devi’s house to Ranjeet Kumar’s house and houses of Bhola Nishad and Gaya Nishad in Karelabagh for Rs. 11.74 lakh; construction of CC road and drain in the internal lanes from JP Chaat to Gondal, Dhaniya Devi, Dashrath Nishad’s houses for Rs. 24.81 lakh; construction of CC road and drain from Ranveer Singh’s house to Maheshwanand Mishra’s house in Meerapur for Rs. 24.62 lakh; construction of CC road and drain from Shiv Guru General Store to the houses of Kanchan Maurya and Awadhesh Kushwaha via Pawan Shastri’s house in Harshvardhan Nagar Meerapur for Rs. 16.78 lakh; construction of lane in Meerapur Punjabi Colony for Rs. 19.02 lakh; construction of road on all three sides of Veer Chhatrasal Park in Meerapur for Rs. 15.62 lakh and construction of road in Sadiapur Imli Tola Mohalla. He inaugurated the construction work of cultural program venue for public programs of local people worth Rs 17.65 lakh.
Minister Nandi said that the double-engine government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is striving to ensure that no area is deprived of development. Our government is working with this resolve. Development work is being carried out in various areas of the Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency.
