Prayagraj: On Friday, the BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan will organize a mass singing of Vande Mataram to mark the 150th anniversary of the national song “Vande Mataram,” which instilled patriotism in every child during the freedom movement and the passion to free Mother India from the shackles of slavery. Discussing the program with party workers and officials at the party office in Civil Lines on Thursday, BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta announced that the mass singing of Vande Mataram will be held at Subhash Square at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Workers and officials from all fronts, cells, and departments of the organization, Mandal presidents and Mandal officials, public representatives, district, state, and regional officials, and dignitaries from the Metropolitan area, as well as students, will also participate. Metropolitan spokesperson Pawan Srivastava stated that Sohanlal Mali, Vice President of the State Backward Classes Commission, will be the chief guest. He further stated that the Metropolitan President has urged party workers to make the event grand and successful.
