Prayagraj: As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, commemoration of 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram was celebrated in IFFCO Phulpur Unit. Under the leadership of General Manager (Unit Head) PK Singh at IFFCO Phulpur Unit, national song was sung in the administrative building and all the departments of the plant as per the rules and in a timely manner. The national song “Vande Mataram” composed by Bankimchandra Chatterjee was written on 7 November 1875 on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Navami. The duration of the national song is approximately 1 minute 9 seconds. Vande Mataram was first serialized in the literary magazine Bangadarshan as part of his novel Anandamath and later published in 1882. During this, GM respectively Sanjay Bhandari, Dr. Anita Mishra, P.K.Patel, Ratnesh Kumar, JGMs respectively Arun Kumar, Arvendra Kumar, S.K. Singh, A.K.Gupta, P.K. Verma, Dr. Satya Prakash, R.P.Yadav, P.K.Tripathi, Sandeep Goel, HOD Human Resources Shambhu Shekhar, IFFCO Officers Association President Anurag Tiwari, IFFCO Employees Sangh President Pankaj Pandey and General Secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav were present.
