Union Minister Piyush Goyal presented  award to Minister Nandi

Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh, which is moving towards becoming the growth engine of the country by adopting Reform, Perform and Transform under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, was honored with the “Business Reform Action Plan Award 2024” at the Industry Promotion and Internal Trade meeting organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in the country’s capital Delhi on Tuesday. Union Minister Piyush Goyal presented the award to Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also present during this. Representing Uttar Pradesh, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi participated in the Industry Promotion and Internal Trade meeting. In which Minister Nandi discussed in detail the industrial development journey of the state.
Uttar Pradesh has been recognized for its excellence in business entry, enabling labour regulations and land administration, achieving top achievement in business-focused reform areas. It was honored with the Business Reform Action Plan Award 2024. Uttar Pradesh also received awards for being a top achiever in Ease of Doing Business in 2022 and an achiever in Logistics Ranking in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Furthermore, in 2021, Uttar Pradesh secured first place in the Good Governance Index and second place in the Export Preparedness Index.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal honoured the states with various awards for their achievements in the field of industrial development at the Industry Promotion and Internal Trade meeting held at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi on Tuesday.
Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, representing Uttar Pradesh, briefed the Union Minister and everyone present on the progress of industrial development under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Minister Nandi stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Union Minister Piyush Goyal, India’s industrial landscape has undergone a radical transformation. The perfection in implementing industrial policies has transformed investors’ perceptions.
India’s golden achievement as the world’s fourth-largest economy is based on a strong foundation of industrial growth. Over the past 11 years, the world has recognized India’s brilliance and brilliance. This has attracted significant global investment.
Minister Nandi stated that Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s initiative to regularly communicate and coordinate with state governments has expanded the states’ contribution to the country’s economy. Such events have served as a means of understanding and effectively guiding the national goals and achieving them. They have also paved the way for rapid resolution of challenges, thereby accelerating the state’s industrial development.
Under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the double engine government of Uttar Pradesh has achieved remarkable achievements during the last 8 years. Over 30 sectoral policies under one umbrella policy, single-window systems like Nivesh Mitra, deployment of Udyami Mitras in districts, the active role of Invest UP, and regular dialogue with stakeholders have all created an investment-friendly ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh, while also making the entire investment process timely and transparent. The development of world-class infrastructure, affordable transportation and logistics facilities, and excellent connectivity have given Uttar Pradesh a new identity as India’s growth engine. This unprecedented transformation would not have been possible without the support of the Government of India.
