Digitization of SIR counting forms happening at home? Fair, transparent, and accurate voter lists questionable

Prayagraj: The BLOs are neither going door to door to distribute the forms nor sitting at the polling booth due to which the voters are disappointed and they are not able to understand whether their entry will be made in the SIR or not. Prayagraj MP Ujjwal Raman Singh’s representative Vinay Kushwaha said these things at his residence in George Town. After waiting for 19 days for the start of the campaign to distribute counting forms for SIR, he went to his polling booth Jagat Taran Girls Inter College George Town but found no one there either. On asking the college watchman, he came to know that no BLO comes here and people like you come and ask and go away disappointed. While the rule has been made that BLO will visit each house thrice but here no one came even once and no form was found.

The MP representative asked how personal information could be filled in if the SIR form itself was unavailable. He questioned how the administration mandated that each BLO digitize 100 forms, so how were they doing it? Forms were being filled out arbitrarily from home, and names were being deleted and added. How could this create a fair, transparent, and accurate voter list?
