Prayagraj: DARE TO BEGIN, DARE TO WIN unfolded in the morning of Saturday at the ground of Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium with vibrant energy, disciplined performances, and enthusiastic participation from students across primary, secondary and senior secondary sections. The event commenced with the hoisting of school flag in accompaniment with School song and progressed with remarkable enthusiasm through a well crafted sequence of activities.

The chief guest of the day  Dheeraj Kumar , DIG CRPF, Prayagraj declared the meet open and   inspired and  urged the students to “ DARE to Begin and win”. He stressed on the importance of games and sports saying that  it is must for the right development of personality and character.  He appealed the parents to encourage their wards to actively participate in sports activities along with their academics. The guest of honour Neeraj Kumar Pandey DCP Traffic, Prayagraj through his message boosted the morale of the participating students to strive with full energy till the goal is reached. The sports man of inter- national acclaim and Vice-president of UP Basketball Association R.S. Bedi was also present throughout the event and boosted the morale of the participating students

The Hon. Secretary of the school Dr. Krishna Gupta in her address inspired the students to actively participate in the games and sports as through games and  sports we get into communion with nature and internalize the good and positive traits of life. Her graceful presence inspired and boosted the morale of students.

The Principal of the school Madhuri Srivastava welcomed all the distinguished guests, dignitaries and the parents present there, and said that the school is always trying to ensure the development of character and sportsmanship in students.  The members from the management Ravindra Gupta ji, Yashovardhan ji and Mrs Rekha Baid Gupta graced the occasion and appreciated the students for showcasing their team spirit and sportsmanship to full glory. The Principal MPVM Alpona Dey, Principal Patanjali Rishikul Nityanand Singh, and the Headmistress PNS Vibha Srivastava also made their presence felt on this historic moment adding grace to the occasion.

The event commenced with the lighting of lamp in accompaniment with Saraswati Vandana and hoisting of flag followed by all the Houses named after our great sages  marching in perfect formation, showcasing discipline and team spirit. Teams from all the five Houses battled fiercely with the spirit of true sportsmanship in each and every game and showed their best performance. The  students of the classes 3rd and 4th presented their FLUFF FORCE drill demonstrating remarkable coordination and precision of action, the classes 4th and 5th Dance of RIBBONS drill reflecting an appreciable coordinat

 The winners received their trophies and certificates in the midst of reflecting applause. The Principal of the school Madhuri Srivastava appreciated and congratulated the winners for showing their best, declaring the Sports Meet a resounding success. The overall champion was BUDDHA House with 271 points. The second runner up was AUROBINDO House with 255 points. The third runner up was CHINMAYA House with 248 points followed by YOGANANDA and SANDIPANI House. The event concluded on a high note with the vote of thanks by the coordinator of the school Neeta Singh, with students and teachers leaving the ground with renewed vigour and memories to cherish.
