Prayagraj: Additional Police Commissioner (Headquarters) N Kolanchi, Mayor Ganesh Prasad Kesarwani, and Additional District Magistrate (City) Satyam Mishra concluded the seven-day Civil Defence training session by distributing training certificates. A total of 360 participating member volunteers of Civil Defence Prayagraj participated in the training program, who were encouraged by the concerned guests by giving them training photographs, certificates, and training module bags. The first session was inaugurated by City Magistrate Vinod Kumar Singh by lighting a lamp. Like every day, the session began with the national song “Itni Shakti Hume Dena Data” and “Vande Mataram.” After this, the City Magistrate made the volunteers aware of various social responsibilities on the topic of “Jeevan Ki Raah” and gave the message of environmental protection and wildlife conservation through a short film. In the second session, the Mayor, in his address, praised the work of the Civil Defence volunteers and, regarding the importance of the organized training session, said that all of you are the pathfinders of the society. Like the Mahakumbh, you will cooperate wholeheartedly in the upcoming Magh Mela. This training will be extremely beneficial for the upliftment of your social life. It is essential that you become a skilled guide. Additional Commissioner of Police and Inspector General of Police Headquarters N Kolanchi, in his address at the training session, said that if 360 trained members add 5 persons to themselves, then this number will reach thousands and this training will be very important for the intelligence collected by you, crowd control and crowd guidance and their public cooperation. Training certificates were distributed to the senior members by him. The guests were welcomed by Chief Warden Anil Kumar by presenting them mementoes and shawls.
