The plays ‘Park’ and ‘Umeed’ will be staged, directed by Ajay Mukherjee

Prayagraj: Under the joint aegis of Vinod Rastogi Smriti Sansthan and VRSS Box Theatre, a grand two-day ‘Rang Aagaaz Natyotsav’ will be organised on 27th and 28th December 2025 at Maharashtra Public Service Board, Alopibagh.

Abhilash Narayan, President of the institute, informed that on December 23, 2025, the Vinod Rastogi Smriti Sansthan completed 22 glorious years of its establishment. On this special occasion, the institute has launched a “new initiative and a new beginning” and outlined this theatre festival, which aims to take theatre to new heights.

Festival Outline: Day 1 (December 27): The festival will begin with a performance of the play “Park,” written by renowned author Manav Kaul. Day 2 (December 28): The play “Umeed” will be staged on the second day. Both plays have been skillfully directed by Ajay Mukherjee. Shubham Verma has provided music direction and co-directed the play “Umeed.” The program will begin daily at 6:00 pm at the Maharashtra Public Service Board, Alopibagh.
