Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Joint Society, Prayagraj, paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the 1971 victory by lighting 21 lamps in the courtyard of Smt. Phoolpati Devi Inter College, Bamrauli, in honor of their supreme sacrifice. Hundreds of ex-servicemen and their families, under the leadership of the organization’s district patron, ex-serviceman Roshan Lal Vats, and district president, ex-serviceman Pramod Kumar Shukla, jointly expressed their gratitude for the honor shown to the martyrs.
The chief guest of the function, Chief Manager of State Bank of India, Vishnu Kant Shukla, honoured the brave women of 1971 Veer winners, Mrs. Shyama Devi and Mrs. Gayatri Devi, war winner ex-serviceman Ram Bahadur Kushwaha and ex-serviceman Sudarshan Ram by presenting them clothes and mementos. On this occasion, the students of Smt. Phoolpati Devi Inter College moved the people through programmes that awakened patriotism.
State Patron Veteran RK Pandey honored veterans with the Rashtra Rakshak Samman, along with uniforms and mementos, for their distinguished services. Bank officials were awarded the Sainik Seva Shiromani for making life easier for veterans, and hospital managing directors were awarded the Sainik Seva Samman by State President Veteran Ajmer Bahadur Singh, Vice President OP Trivedi, and State General Secretary KP Singh Chauhan.
Along with the chief guest of the program, very special guest Branch Manager State Bank of India Agri Institute Naini Mrs. Shalu Kumari, Dr. Rajiv Srivastava Managing Director Ankur Hospital, HR Anil Kumar Kanojia New Life Hospital and Senior Branch Manager Punjab National Bank Meta Life Sarvesh Kumar Srivastava were present who reiterated their commitment to always provide positive support through their institutions in honor of the dedication and national service of the soldiers and said that the sacrifice of the soldiers cannot be compensated but our services are always dedicated to making the life of the soldiers easier. In this program organized in honor of the soldiers, special guests of UP Ex-Servicemen Joint Organization were Veteran Govind Narayan Mishra, former Transport Officer, Supreme Court Advocate Veteran Tatsat Shukla, Veteran Keshav Sharma, District Vice President Devendra Bahadur Singh, State Spokesperson and Chief Advisor Shriram Shivhare, Eastern Region President Veteran Kailash Nath Dubey, Southern Region Coordinator Veteran Manoj Singh, District Treasurer Veteran Triveni Prasad Verma, Deputy Treasurer Veteran Purushottam Shukla, District Secretary Veteran Saurabh Dubey, Deputy Secretary Veteran Basant Kumar, District Coordinator Veteran Ajay Kumar Singh, Co-ordinator Veteran Surendra Yadav, Co-Media Incharge Veteran Durga Prasad Kushwaha, Rakesh Singh, Sunil Sharma, Niranjan Sharma, SK Thakur, Veteran Raghav Ram and District Special Advisory Committee members Veteran Prakash Narayan, Veteran Ashok Dubey, Bharat Lal Singh, Veteran Satyanarayan Singh and Veteran Surendra Kumar Singh Kushwaha and Organization Publicity Committee members Veteran TN Singh and Veteran Buddhsen Singh Parihar along with many other ex-servicemen were present. Finally, the District President Prayagraj made 14 new members take official membership of Uttar Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Joint Organization Prayagraj and a feast was organized.
