Prayagraj: As part of the Atal Smriti Birth Centenary celebrations, the BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan organized the Atal Smriti Sammelan at Hanuman Vatika in the City West Assembly on Saturday. Speaking as the keynote speaker, former BJP District President of Kaushambi, Anita Tripathi, said that Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was a pillar of politics. He was known for his vision, impeccable image, poetic heart, powerful oratory, and liberal views that were respected across all parties, making him an extraordinary and exemplary politician who shaped India’s national prestige. He never compromised on national honor. By defying American pressure and making the bold decision to conduct nuclear tests, he established India as a nuclear power on the world stage. Atal ji’s life, dedicated to public service and national service, will forever inspire the countrymen. He was a beloved leader.

City West MLA Siddharth Nath Singh said that Atal ji always considered national interest paramount and was equally respected by both the ruling and opposition parties. Atal ji was the key architect of the founding ideals of the Bharatiya Janata Party. A personality like Atal ji appears in politics only once in a while. He did not wish any harm to anyone.
