Prayagraj: Chunnan Guru Memorial Committee celebrated his 126th birth anniversary by garlanding the statue of Kalyan Chandra Mohile Chunnan Guru at Ghantaghar Square and paying tribute to him. On this occasion, the chief guest of the program, MP Ujjwal Raman Singh said that Kalyan Chandra Mohile Chunnan Guru was a leader of the masses, his entire life was dedicated to social service, he was a leader of everyone’s hearts, more than a party.
The program was presided over by Chief Warden of Civil Defence Anil Kumar Gupta Annu Bhaiya who said that Chunnan Guru was a leader with an accessible and simple personality. Stick in hand and paan in mouth has been the identity of Chunnan Guru.
While conducting the programme, BJP leader and former councillor Ram Ji Kesarwani said that Chunnan Guru was the MLA from the city’s South Central from 1952 to 1967 from the Praja Socialist Party. He had given a dimension of service to politics, which was an ideal political inspiration for the coming generations.
On this occasion, BJP spokesperson Rajesh Kesarwani, councilor Sunita Chopra, councilor Kusum Lata Gupta, councilor Nem Yadav, former councilor Giri Baba, Badri Chaurasia, Wazir Khan, Amar Vaishya Munna Bhaiya gave a glimpse of the life of Chunnan Guru Ji.
Munna Mazdoor, the coordinator of the program, welcomed the guests. On this occasion, Rajkumar Jaiswal, Manoj Mishra, Sreessh Jaiswal, Akash Chopra, Mehboob Usmani, Babban Dubey, Shiv Shankar Kesarwani and hundreds of committee workers and social workers paid tribute.
