Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President and former minister Ajay Rai said that in the current situation, the politics of hatred has largely destroyed social harmony, and therefore, the Congress Seva Dal is needed more than ever. Speaking as the chief guest at the four-day special Samarth training camp of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Seva Dal at the Magh Mela on Saturday afternoon, which runs until January 11th, he said that the Seva Dal is the fundamental strength and root of the Congress. Just as it was needed during the freedom struggle, it is needed today with the same dedication. I firmly believe that to strengthen the Congress, the Seva Dal must be strengthened.

Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra Mona said that the Seva Dal has been the country’s largest social and political organization and needs to play its meaningful role. The powers in power are fearlessly creating fear. For their own selfish interests, they are selling industries built by the Congress party to private players at low prices. Corruption has deeply penetrated every sector. The central and state governments are misrepresenting the past. Congress will have to fight against this, and the Seva Dal has a crucial role to play.

Before this, Allahabad MP Ujjwal Raman Singh hoisted the flag in the camp amid the sound of the song Vande Mataram. Dr. Pramod Pandey, President of the State Congress Seva Dal, conducted the camp, shedding light on the history of the Seva Dal before and after independence. He said that the Seva Dal camp will remain open until Mahashivratri, serving devotees. Zonal President, former MLA Vijay Prakash, City Congress President Fuzail Hashmi, Ashok Patel, Ashfaq Ahmed, Gaurav Pandey, Sudhakar Tiwari, Kishore Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Mukund Tiwari, Shri Prakash Mishra, Satish Bind, Taslimuddin, Sanjay Tiwari, Raghunath Dwivedi, Pradeep Anshuman, Arun Tiwari, Anil Pandey, Anupam Srivastava, Abhijeet Kushwaha, Aminuddin, Anil Dev Tyagi, Raj Bahadur Gupta, Afsana Ansari, Kaushalesh Pathak and hundreds more were present.
