Prayagraj: Proud moment for SHUATS as Prof. Dr. C John Wesley, Additional Registrar and Chairman, Athletics Commitee SHUATS, representing the Prayagraj District lifted the Mixed Doubles Masters Badminton Championship in 40+ category in the resently concluded Yonex Sunrise Uttar Pradesh State Masters Championship 2026 held at Bareilly from 9th to 11th January 2026 partnering Adity Patwal from Gaziabad. Dr. Wesley was the runner up in the Mens Doubles Category partnering with the Arujun awardee and Olympian Shri. Abhinn Shyam Gupta. The Vice Chancellor, SHUATS  congratulated Dr. C John Wesley for this achievement, he told that Dr. C John Wesley is an inspiration for the students and the faculty. Prof Wesley won many national and international badminton trophies in past.
